So there was more no-volution (still trying to make that a word) with the Nick and Jess relationship on New Girl’s latest episode S02E22… no movement at all, neither forward nor backward. Standing still. As predicted. Ho hum. 7th Grade.
- Not even a Dad pass hug from Jess while Nick was perfecting a new form of modern dance (so cute)
- No sign of a knowing wink, lingering look or any interesting physical contact – wrestling for the phone might have been an opportunity?
Three weeks to wait and see how the writers make me believe again. Make me believe!!
- Nice to see Cece is getting closer to ditching Shivr’ah’ng – nice chap, good actor but it is far too madcapped an idea and he is too short. So there.
- Schmidt’s ex girlfriend is interesting. Like her.
- Why is Winston becoming crazier? Does he need a girl? Roles have seriously shifted when Schmidt makes more sense than Winston.
Best line (Schmidt – pizza frenzied): “”So greasy! So many carbs! Welcome home, melted cheese! I don’t even know what pepperoni’s made of, it’s so good. It’s like waking up from a bad salad dream. Big Guy in the house!”
